Kristin Goodwin

A leadership keynote forged where unclear thinking was a consequence.

BIOGRAPHY

Kristin Goodwin is a Strategic C-Level Executive, Advisor, Nonprofit Board Member, and Retired Brigadier General, with over 25 years of service at the intersection of leadership, innovation, and global impact.

EARLY YEARS

Her journey began at age 10 when the space shuttle Columbia launched—and with it, her dream of reaching the stars. That dream led her to the Air Force Academy, through the skies of Bosnia, across the halls of the Pentagon, and into history as a barrier-breaking leader in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force.

Kristin’s leadership has been tested and proven under fire—literally—commanding multi-billion-dollar assets, reversing operational gaps, and executing missions under life-threatening conditions. In her final role in service, she helped architect the first of three field commands for the U.S. Space Force, overseeing operations for 4,100 personnel and guiding 38,000 cyber and space professionals globally.

CONSULTING

In her second act, she advises Fortune 500 companies and defense leaders on AI strategy, governance, risk mitigation, and transformation leadership. She facilitates board retreats, consults on electronic warfare, and mentors CEOs navigating complex organizational change.

Her values - Consciousness, Excellence, Innovation, Respect—guide everything she does. She is known for her laser focus, radical curiosity, and guardian spirit. Whether leading a mission or mentoring a new leader, Kristin operates from a deep-rooted philosophy: Navigate complexity. Inspire clarity. Spark transformation.

Kristin is an accomplished endurance athlete and finished an Ironman while balancing life as a devoted wife and super mom to two incredible daughters. She continues to pursue challenges that mirror her approach to transformational leadership.

"Victory smiles upon those who anticipate the changes in the character of war, not upon those who wait to adapt themselves after the changes occur."
